I’m Alexa. I am a Bay Area-based therapist offering virtual therapy across California. My work centers around helping people untangle the patterns and experiences that keep them feeling stuck — often rooted in early relationships or past wounds that still shape the present. I support adults, teens and couples navigating anxiety, trauma, relationship challenges, dating, and the long-lasting impact of growing up with a parent who struggled with a personality disorder.
My work is trauma-informed, attachment-focused, and collaborative. I help clients understand how past experiences shape present-day emotions, relationships, and patterns — and support them in creating meaningful, lasting change.
I primarily use EMDR and psychodynamic therapy to help process trauma and deepen insight, while integrating CBT, ACT, and DBT skills as needed to support emotional regulation and daily functioning. Therapy is paced carefully and tailored to your individual needs.
Outside of my work, I find joy in my two dogs (Monday and Little), taking myself on grocery store dates, spending time with loved ones and rewatching my favorite ‘90s romcoms.
